Clinical Services
We provide Integrative Therapies which provide a more holistic approach to one's healing journey. Integrative therapy is an approach that combines elements from various therapeutic modalities to create a tailored and holistic treatment plan for individuals seeking mental health support. This approach recognizes that no single therapeutic approach is universally effective for all individuals and that different people may benefit from different techniques and strategies. To your right is an explanation of some of the services and modalities we often incorporate into integrative therapy. These services are designed for individual and group therapy.
The specific combination of these services and modalities in integrative therapy can vary depending on the client's needs and the therapist's expertise. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and flexible approach to address the client's emotional, psychological, spiritual, and relational challenges while promoting personal growth and well-being.
1
Assessment & Evaluation
Integrative therapy typically begins with a thorough assessment of the client's mental health history, current issues, and goals. This assessment helps the therapist understand the client's unique needs and develop a personalized treatment plan.
2
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a widely used therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. Integrative therapy may incorporate CBT techniques to address specific cognitive and behavioral issues.
3
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy explores the influence of unconscious thoughts and past experiences on current behaviors and emotions. It helps clients gain insight into their underlying psychological processes and relationships.
4
Humanistic Therapy
Humanistic therapies, such as person-centered therapy, emphasize self-acceptance, personal growth, and self-actualization. They often encourage clients to explore their feelings, biases, values, and goals.
5
Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy focuses on the stories people tell themselves about their lives. It helps clients reframe their narratives in more empowering and positive ways.
6
Mindfulness & Meditation
Integrative therapy may include mindfulness and meditation practices to help clients become more aware of their thoughts and emotions, manage stress, and improve overall well-being. By cultivating mindfulness, individuals can become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment, without judgment or reactivity. This heightened awareness allows them to recognize negative thought patterns and automatic reactions that contribute to emotional distress.
7
Holistic Approaches
These can include incorporating elements like nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle adjustments into the treatment plan, and recognizing the interconnectedness of physical and mental health.
8
Body-Based Therapies
"Body-based mental health services" typically refer to therapeutic approaches and interventions that incorporate the body and physical sensations as a means of addressing and improving mental health. These approaches recognize the interconnectedness of the mind and body and aim to promote mental well-being through physical practices and awareness.

WALK-AND-TALK THERAPY
We also offer walk-and-talk therapy, also known as outdoor therapy or ecotherapy, is a therapeutic approach that combines traditional talk therapy with the benefits of walking in nature. Walk-and-talk therapy takes place outdoors, typically in parks, gardens, or other natural environments. The physical movement and being surrounded by nature can enhance the therapeutic experience and create a unique atmosphere for self-reflection and healing.

The benefits of walk-and-talk therapy are multi-fold. Firstly, the physical activity of walking stimulates the release of endorphins, which can improve mood and reduce stress. Secondly, being in nature has a calming effect and can help you feel more grounded and connected. The natural environment provides a soothing backdrop that can facilitate a sense of relaxation and openness during therapy.

Additionally, the act of walking side by side with the therapist can create a more informal and relaxed atmosphere, which can make it easier for some individuals to open up and express their thoughts and emotions. The movement itself can also serve as a metaphor for progress and personal growth.

Walk-and-talk therapy can be beneficial for various mental health concerns, such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. It can also be an effective approach for individuals who find sitting in a traditional therapy setting uncomfortable or prefer a more active and dynamic approach.

It's important to note that walk-and-talk therapy may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with mobility limitations or certain health conditions may need to explore other therapy options. Additionally, confidentiality and privacy considerations will be discussed to ensure a safe and secure therapeutic environment.
